  1. Batocera Beta VisionFive 2 Image Experience

Recently, developer “LivingLinux” experienced a Beta image on VisionFive 2, which comes with several games suitable for NES, SNES, Dreamcast, C64, and more. “LivingLinux” has tried PSP games Silveredge and Kodi, among which Silveredge played very smoothly.

To facilitate users running K3S on VisionFive 2, developer “allard” compiled mariad phpmyadmin、postgresql、pgadmin、gitea、zabbix-server、zabbix-web and zabbix-agent. For more details, please refer to the Docker Hub of "allard” account: allardkrings/riscv64*****.

  1. Running Demo of Geogram - GeoBox,Evert and GeoShade on VisionFive 2

Developer Bas Magré shared a video on YouTube, which includes:
Compiling and running GeoGram;
Run GeoBox, Evert, and GeoShade;
Runs openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE Plamsa 6 on VisionFive 2, which is equipped with a GPU (AMD Radeon R9 290).

  1. Free trial | JH-7110 RISC-V development kit officially open source!

Recently, StarFive officially opened up the JH-7110 development kit(JH-7110 DevKit) in RVspace ecosystem community, and provided its schematic and PCB reference design source files, aiming to provide customers with comprehensive RISC-V chip platform design references. JH-7110 DevKit provides open-source technical documentation including hardware documentation, software documentation, design materials, development and porting manuals, etc. It now can be accessed in RVspace community.

  1. StarFive Chip, the World’s First! Deep Computing launches RISC-V mainboard compatible with Framework and can DIY laptops

Recently, Deep Computing announced that it will soon release the world’s first RISC-V architecture laptop mainboard compatible with Framework Laptop 13. This mainboard adopts StarFive’s JH-7110 SoC, and is independently designed and developed by Deep Computing. This is the first RISC-V laptop mainboard that can run Ubuntu and Fedora operating systems, and also the first independently developed mainboard for Framework DIY laptops. It will make its debut at the 2024 European RISC-V Summit held in Munich, Germany from June 24th to 28th.
