Frore Systems makes Solid State Active Cooling CHIP replaces cpu fans

Frore Systems makes Solid State Active Cooling CHIP replaces cpu fans:

  • AirJet Mini
  • AirJet Pro

My question: Could we use this Frore Systems AirJet Mini to cool this VF2’s SOC?

So piezoelectric crystals (e.g. PZT), pulsed with high voltages, vibrating above the audio range of humans pumping air using exactly the same principals that are used in aquarium ultrasonic air pumps. Interesting, but could annoy pets.

EDIT: Looks like I’m wrong it is much much slower functioning like old fashioned fire bellows, operating at ~150 Hz. I guess there will be a lot more of them in about eleven years time when the patent expires (US9668334).

EDIT2: I love the original prototype images and graphics (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), looking at them explains a lot faster than reading the patent how the device actually functions.

EDIT3: Wrong patent, it is either US11456234 or US10943850 (expires 2039-03-29) and it vibrates at 15kHz to 20kHz, so at least in principal it is amazingly similar in operation to aquarium ultrasonic air pumps.
