I should be getting my PineTab-V soon, so I’m pretty excited to get things set up. According to the JH7110 status page, almost everything is upstream in the kernel, but there is no mention of the kernel or user land GPU drivers there.
What’s the status of the kernel and Mesa drivers for the JH7110? It sounds like this device is still under development, so I understand that not everything is upstream yet. But are all drivers in StarFive repos for the PineTab-V open source, or are some of them still proprietary?
For anyone who’s interested, the Pine64 docs have some info about various distributions for the PineTab-V. I’ll probably try Gentoo first, as it’s being actively updated, and it looks like they’re patching a recent kernel.
