Milk-V Mars CM module is officially on pre-sale. Milk-V Mars CM CPU module powered by a StarFive JH-7110 quad-core RISC-V SoC.
The RISC-V module comes with up to 8GB RAM, a 16MB SPI flash, an optional eMMC flash, onboard GbE PHY, and a wireless module with WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 plus the two 100-pin board-to-board connectors offering (partial) compatibility with carrier boards made for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4.

StarFive published an article to recap the highlights of the 2023 RISC-V China Summit. The StarFive event held on August 23rd showcased many high-end applications and solutions (including the world’s first RISC-V tablet) based on its JH-7110 high-performance SoC. The attendance is so great that all seats are occupied but it cannot contain the enthusiasm from the RISC-V fans.

The official maintainers of the PSP emulator PPSSPP worked together with the StarFive software team and published the new JIT backend. The dynarec enabled users to play lots of PSP native games including the performance index - “God of War”, on VisionFive 2 and on other JH-7110 based RISC-V platforms.
The following video shows more on playing “God of War” on RISC-V SBC VisionFive 2 using this new JIT backend implemented by “Unknown”.

The developer "怀揣少年梦“ successfully complied and installed OpenWrt on StarFive’s VisionFive 2 based on Hauke’s commit regarding VisionFive.

The developer “大菠萝Alpha” successfully flashed, configured, and tested the OpenWrt image from RVspace Forum on VisionFive 2, and he stated that the installation process was very smooth and the features were also rich and complete.
