StarFive announced that SmartLogic, China’s leading home-grown wireless communication IP and chip provider, adopted its Dubhe-90 CPU IP core to build its end-to-end designed-in-China 5G mini base station solution. The adoption of the Dubhe-90 core in the wire-less communication scenario is a significant milestone for the global RISC-V application scenario expansion, given the severe requirements on core performance, power consumption, security, and stability.

StarFive Unveils New IP Products at ICCAD 2023
At ICCAD 2023, from November 10th to 11th, StarFive captivated audiences by unveiling its cutting-edge IP product lineup. This included RISC-V CPU IPs, interconnect fabric IPs, and multi-core/many-core RISC-V IP subsystem platforms. Senior Sales Director Jay Zhou delivered a compelling keynote speech entitled ‘Empowering the 16 to 256 Core RISC-V IP Subsystem Platform’.

The RISC-V Summit North America 2023 was held November 7-8 in Santa Clara, California (PST). The summit brings together innovators and technology leaders from the global RISC-V community to showcase RISC-V products and solutions. Starting from the RISC-V Member Day on November 6th, StarFive delivered two speeches at this summit:
● "Introducing RISC-V Platform Management Interface (RPMI) "
● "Insight of Linux Distro Optimization for RISC-V: Using VisionFive 2 Debian as Example ".
In addition to the 2 exciting presentations, DeepComputing showcased the DC-ROMA Pad, a new generation RISC-V product based on StarFive’s JH-7110 SoC.

StarFive formally released JH-7110I, the industrial variant of its JH-7110 SoC as a product of its DevKit program in November 2023. JH-7110I is compliant with severe industrial conditions including the junction temperature of -40 to 125 ℃. Kylinsoft released a new internal Embedded OS release on 2023-11-13 to StarFive on the RISC-V high-performance SoC JH-7110 and JH-7110I (I for Industry). In the new release, the GPU is enabled with OpenGL ES 3.2, and all the basic software including the input method and the browser are tested as working properly in the Embedded & Industrial scenario. The OS is currently available for solution customers to test based on the VisionFive 2 SBC.
