3. CasaOS Officially Supports RISC-V
The open-source private cloud solution CasaOS has achieved RISC-V compatibility - the “Add initial RISC-V support” pull request (PR: #2206), contributed by engineers from the PLCT Lab, has been officially merged into the CasaOS main branch.
This adaptation covers seven core components of CasaOS, including CasaOS-Gateway, CasaOS-AppManagement, and CasaOS-UserService, delivering broad compatibility for more user-facing RISC-V terminal devices. The milestone not only expands RISC-V’s ecosystem in edge computing but also unlocks new possibilities for RISC-V adoption in private cloud application scenarios.
