few days ago Canonical release Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and included first official support for VisionFive boards and they provided preinstalled images.
you can find the images there: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish)
or you can use preinstalled images there (you will need to extract it): https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/22.04.1/release/ubuntu-22.04.1-preinstalled-server-riscv64+visionfive.img.xz
