It’s great that the kernel development is still in progress for JH7110. All of these patches and trees popping up in these threads seem to originate from Michal Wilczynski and apparently he is working on getting the code upstream. Great work!

In the kernel modules of Debian 14 for vf2(kernel 7.1.3) and Debian Sid for vf2(kernel 7.1.6), There are two xz compressed files, one in the imagination directory and the other in the verisilicon directory.They correspond to the GPU and HDMI manufacturers of the vf2.
So the Debian developers… 
Although using them didn’t light up the monitor connected to the VF2, they still made me really happy.
I am not sure whether the patch, to add support for the IMG BXE-4-32 GPU to the existing Imagination driver, is really included in Debian’s linux-image-riscv64. I do not see it in their Linux build repo: https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/tree/debian/latest/debian/patches
That Imagination driver is in mainline Linux since several years, but it does not support the GPU of the JH7110.
