Sorry, did not try that yet. Vulkan is still on my list, but did not manage to find time to see how far I can get it running…
But you might want to check if the libvulkan version provided with 1.19 / VF2_v3.1.5 might not has the issues because of which it was replaced here visionfive2-pvr-graphics: Do not package vulkan prebuilts · riscv/meta-riscv@e9a6361 · GitHub

Ok, thanks for the response. I have tried using a different libvulkan.so but it doesn’t resolve the missing extensions.
The 3.8.2 release of the VisionFive 2 software solves some of the Vulkan driver issues, though not all of them.

What Yocto layer were you using? I see the same problem with this layer:

@sajattack Your mesa pvr pkgbuild is based on a now somewhat dated version of mesa. Have the problems resolved through the patches in the pkgbuild been addressed upstream?
