TLS error when cloning VisionFive 2 SDK rep

Hi there!

When cloning the VisionFive 2 repository from github I always run into a TLS error that goes like: ”RPC failed; curl 56 GnuTLS recv error (-9): Error decoding the received TLS packet” and some more generic text.

Correct me but this seems to be a timing related problem. Several more or less helpless advices (increase buffer size, switch to http 1.1, reinstall gnutils, use SSH instead of TLS, …) show up in the search engines but none of them solve the problem.

I have no github account, I have a slow internet connection (20MBit/s).

Anything that can be done about it?

Meanwhile I found out that the SDK download from the github rep directly works fine, following the instructions in the readme there.

The problem occurs for me when downloading from this RVspace-link:

The differences are in the details but the problem was circumvented. I got all the sources.
