The GPU driver for debian202510 is Wayland, so it does not support X11. Even if used, it will be yellow in color and slow in speed.
JMW seems to be a lightweight tiled window management, perhaps sway (wayland) will also make you like it.
If you must use X11 on VF2, you can only choose Deepin and OpenKylin, both of which support X11 GPU drivers and do not support VPU. They are all developed by Chinese software vendors.
